I am a registered nurse. I have worked in many areas of the health care
arena, however my specialy areas are the ICU and ER. I graduated
from University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 1989. I
have lived in Friendswood for 17 years. I have been married for 19
years and have a 16 year old daughter. This will be my 6th year at
Friendswood.
I hope that students will leave this class with a far better understanding
of how their body functions and what is necessary to keep themselves healthy and safe.
Each student will also develop the knowledge of how our health care system
functions. Even if a student decides that health care is not
for them, he or she will have gained insight and information that will enable each of
them to better participate in health care decisions for themselves, as
well as aging family members.
