Good things. Students will - voluntarily - tell the class something nice they did for someone over the
weekend.
Tuesday - we will have a representative from Ringling School of Art andDesign during 4th period to
explain the requuirements of the school and give a Power Point Presentation to advnaced students
explang what the school is all about.
Thursday is fit Gram Day.
Art 1
Students will review the color wheel and the terms associated with it and will take notes.
Students will continue painting their designs using watercolors and choose art terms to paint each of
their squares. They should be finished by Wednesday.
Students will begin to practice using oil pastels and how the colors mix together. They will do a
practice worksheet that will emphasize Pointillism and the artist, Seurat.
Art 2
Students will continue with their paintings using acrylics. They will draw their photo onto a 16" X 20"
canvas and will paint it using a style of Impressionism and acrylic paint. Discuss not wasting paint and
being sure the clean all brushes. Student will also write a Precis of two of the four artists.
Art 3
Students will continue with their portraits styled after Chuck Close. They will decide on what type of
background they want to use to finish up their portraits.
Art 4 & A.P. Students
Student will continue with their portraits and will finish them p by Wednesday. On Thursday they will
draw a motorcycle inthe mall using a contour line.
On Friday we will look at exmples of A.P. Portfolio artwork and it will be explained.
