About The Teacher
Mrs. Jones has been a foreign language teacher in Friendswood since 1974. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish and English and a Master of Education Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University. Friendswood has changed over the years and Mrs. Jones is thrilled to have been a part of it. She lives in Friendswood, sharing her home with her mother and several pets. Her sons Jonathan and Jordan live nearby. She loves CATS. She is also a licensed Realtor.

Mission
Students in Spanish classes are encouraged to use the language to communicate every day. Opportunities are offered for practice in vocabulary and grammar as well as oral and written communication. Listening activities help students adapt to the sounds of the language, and cultural studies offer opportunities for global understanding.
