I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University which is located in
my hometown of Nacogdoches, Texas. I am beginning my 19th year as
a teacher. I am a member of my professional organization, Family and
Consumer Science Teachers Association of Texas. I am the sponsor
for the national organization Family, Career, and Community Leaders of
America
Family and Consumer Science classes are skill building classes to
prepare students for careers, leadership opportunities, and promote
healthy life styles.
