"It was many, many moons ago when I was trained
to be a Teacher-Librarian at the University of San Carlos
(Cebu City,Philippines) and obtained my Learning Resources Specialist
Certification from the University of Houston in Clear Lake.
I have worked in all types of libraries - university, public, research
libraries. The job in the school library is the most invigorating one by far.
Working with the staff and the students, while keeping up with the management
of library materials, provide daily doses of skill sharpening activities.
The students are a joy to be around. They are full of energy, occasional
mischief, loads of big dreams, and of great expectations. Working with them
keeps me feeling young and very much alive."
