My Teaching Background:
This is my seventeenth year to teach biology and coach soccer in the state of
Texas. This is my eleventh year in Friendswood ISD. This is my ninth year
to teach pre-ap biology and I still love it. Biology is my favorite
science! Learning about yourself and the world around you is very
interesting.
My Coaching Background:
I began the girls soccer program here in 1994, after serving as the head
coach at Langham Creek High School for one year. I also served as the head
coach at A & M Consolidated and Stony Point High Schools before returning to
Friendswood. I have been back at Friendswood for eight years now.
Student Council:
This is my first year to serve as the student council advisor. I am really
looking forward to getting to know and to work with the student leaders on
our campus.
My Family:
My husband, Stephen Peter, is the boys head soccer coach here at Friendswood
High School and he also teaches biology. We have one daughter, Cameryn
Alexis, who is 5 years old and starting kindergarten this year, and one son,
Shelby Thomas, who is 3 years old, at the beginning of this school year.
