About The Teacher
This is my 16th year teaching and coaching, my second in Friendswood and I am more than excited to be here in such an acclaimed and successful district. Go MUSTANGS !!! In my career I have taught English at several grade levels, have served as a lead teacher, academic coordinator and department head; and have coached baseball, football, basketball and golf on the varsity level. I received my BA from UHCL, double majoring in English & Political Science and earned my Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University. I have been married to my wife Suzanne for 24 years and have three children: Brittany (23), Spencer (21) and Nick (20) and one new grandson, A.J., who Brittany gave birth to back on July 29th. In addition to being a proud grandpa, I am an avid reader, a big fan of the theatre, a golfer, and the biggest Houston Texans fan around. I firmly believe that it is a privilege and an honor to be able to teach; to coach; to impact the lives of so many young people and now I get to do this in the best school district in the state. I am so excited and proud to be a part of Mustang Nation !!!
