Dear Students and Parents,


Effective January 2005, the English Department will amend our grade 
distribution to account for the differences in major test grades and 
quizzes.  The new distribution will be as follows:


Major Grades (Tests, Essays, Research Papers, Projects, 
etc.)………..50%

Quizzes………………………………………………………………...30%

Classwork (Homework/Daily Assignments)…………………………..20%
