About The Teacher

I have 42 years teaching experience and this is my 34th year at 
Friendswood High School.  I sponsor UIL Spelling.

Mission For The Class

Students study grammar, literature, composition, and vocabulary 
development.  Reading skills, paragraph writing, and language 
concepts are stressed.  Students study various types of literature 
including poetry, drama, short stories, novels, and prose.  Composition 
skills include the paragraph and multi-paragraph papers.  A greater 
emphasis is placed on writing style and variety of sentence and 
paragraph construction for Pre AP students
