This will be my 21st year in teaching (18th at Friendswood). I will teach
3 physics classes and 1 Technological Principles class. I am also the
head boys cross country and track coach and I am also an assistant
football coach. I have a lovely wife (Marina)of 14 years and two boys
(Joshua - 9 yrs old and Jacob - 10 yrs old) to keep me busy during my
spare time.
Physics students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the following
concepts: laws of motion, conservation of momentum and energy, force,
thermodynamics, waves, and electricity.
Principles of Technology students will investigate the four main energy
systems: mechanical, fluid, electrical and thermal. They will
demonstrate knowlege in the areas of force, work,rate, resistance,
enery, and power.
Both classes will stress the scientific problem solving and critical
thinking.
