Dear Students,
If you decide you want to make the element ball project and have not yet
signed up for an element, you can see the sign-up sheet through the handouts
page. You may pick an element that has not been signed for on the periodic
table or on the list that I will add to this announcement page. Please email
me when you have made your selection and I will add it to the page, so no one
else will take your element. You may want to avoid the synthetic elements
(some of the inner transition, or rare earth elements) that have their atomic
masses in parenthesis.
In addition to the ones selected on the periodic table under handouts, the
following elements are no longer available:
cadmium
