Grades and Homework Policies

How you will earn your grade:
1.	60% will be on your day to day work. **
2.	30% will be on your large project and test grades. **
3.	10% will be on the at least once a 6 weeks
         check of your student portfolio.

**If at any time a student is not satisfied with grade given on daily work
he/she can redo the assignment for a higher grade, however large projects or
test may not be redone.

**Students may stay after school on Tuesdays until 4:30pm to work on
projects or make-up work.

        Make up work policy:

Any assignment may be turned in up to 1 school week prior to the end of the
grading period, 5% of the grade will be lost for each day it is late up to
30% of the grade.

This means that I want you to do the work and you can turn it in late, but
if it is more than 6 days late the best you can do is a 70%.

This system is used in our department because we want you to do the work and
even if it is late a 70% is better than a 0.

If you are ill the days allowed by the FISD policy in the Mustang manual
will not count as the 6 days.
