TSA's Mission
The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and
opportunities in technology, innovation, design and engineering. Members
apply and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)
concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related
programs.
MEMBERSHIP
The common denominator for TSA members is an interest in technology and a
desire to be a part of a national organization.
TSA’s curriculum, competitive events, chapter programs and conferences
provide academic and personal growth challenges to its members.
COMPETITIONS
TSA hosts more than sixty competitions that incorporate communications,
construction, manufacturing, transportation, leadership and related
technologies.
TSA’s competitive events are aligned with standards for technological
literacy.
CONFERENCES
TSA events occur at the local, regional, state and national level where
members demonstrate their technology education knowledge and leadership
skills. In June, the National TSA Conference takes place in a major city
where thousands of members participate in a quality and exciting educational
experience.
Friendswood TSA is involved with community service like the adopt a school
program that we organize and all other organizations at FHS take part in.
FHS TSA also hosts several fellowship events during the year so that the
students become more of a family and build as a team.
TSA is one of the strongest organizations at FHS and will be a great group
to join during your high school career. It is a great place to learn how to
be a leader.
Hope to see you at a meeting soon.
