About The Coach
Coach Blackwell is from Tyler TX, also known as the Rose Capital. In college he had the opportunity of playing on two
national tournament teams, one at Tyler Junior College and one at The University of Illinois at Springfield. He
graduated from UT Tyler in December of 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in Finance.
Coach Blackwell is entering his fourth year at Friendswood High School. He enjoys fishing and being outside as much
as possible during the summer. Coach Blackwell is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and Dallas Mavericks fan.
