I have spent over 30 percent of my life in the 7th grade. Many years
teaching Texas History and one year of actually being in 7th grade. When I
was a student, I could not wait to become an 8th grader and swore to myself
that I would never talk to 7th graders again. Presently, I spend most of my
days talking, pushing along and helping pave the path to success to 7th
graders and could not think of a better job to have. My wife and I raise 3
daughters and live in Friendswood. I coach 7th grade football and 8th grade
basketball at FJH. I am a big University of Houston fan and secretly wish
that I will one day be the Men's basketball coach there. I am one of the
leaders of the CLEAR (Clean Living Encouragement and Responsibility) program
at FJH and a HUGE fan of the 3 Musketeers chocolate candy bar.
The Mission for Texas History is to create a fun, learning atmosphere.
This will be a very hands-on class with a lot of room to be creative and to
bring history alive in the classroom setting.
