I was born and educated in England. After teaching high school math
for 5 years in Manchester, England, my family moved to Charleston,
West Virginia in 1991. That was a culture shock!
After another 3 years of teaching high school math, we decided to go for
another culture shock and moved to Seabrook, Texas.
Since moving to Texas, I have been teaching junior high school
students, and I have obtained my master's degree in math from UHCL.
I have an 8 year old daughter, Sarah, who is proud to be the only Texan in
our entire extended family and is only too happy to confuse her cousins
by saying things like "Y'all" at our annual family reunions in England.
