Library Rules

Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM

Circulation: Students may have up to 3 books and 1 magazine checked out
at any given time. These materials are checked out for a 3-week period
and may be renewed by bringing the book to the circulation desk.

Reference books may be checked out overnight.

Students will not be allowed to check out books if there is a fine or
overdue book on their record. For their own protection, students may not
check out books for other students.

Fines: The fine charged for overdue books is 5 cents a day. There is one
day of grace so that if the book is returned the day after it is due, there is
no fine charged. Only school days are counted.

Overdue fines for reference books are 25 cents per day.

Lost or Damaged Books: If a student loses a book, the replacement cost will
be assessed. If the book is found, the money will be refunded (less the
overdue fine). Fines are assessed for damaged books.

Student Services: Copy machine - 10 cents per copy.

Collection: Our collection includes more than 14,000 books. We have
subscriptions to about 60 magazines and a professional collection of
materials including videos, posters, computer software and books-on-
tape and CD.

Electronic resources: At the heart of the library is a computer network
with the library's catalog, an online encyclopedia, a biographies database, a
full-text magazine and newspaper database and access to the internet.
