About The Teacher
I am originally from Knoxville, Tennessee where I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Business degree many years ago. Since then, I added three children to my family, who have all now left the nest. I have obtained a Masters Degree in Technology and Curriculum and am a Master of Technology teacher. As you can tell, I love computers and anything to do with computers. My first love is my family, second is teaching children, third is computers. I haven't had much spare time, but if I did I would be boating, hiking, camping, playing racquetball, canoeing, or hanging out with friends. I have one golden retriever, two cats, and a fish tank with one fish. I have lived here since 1991. Texas is a great place and I have enjoyed every minute here.

Mission
Multimedia and Desktop Publishing classes are intended to be more "skills" based rather than a "knowledge" based course. Emphasis is placed on projects and creating products. My hopes that my students finish these courses confident and excited about what they have learned and are able to apply their knowledge and skills in all areas of their lives.
