are some ways people can help preserve coastal wetlands? Describe your answers. (3/4 page)
Assessments/Evidence
of Student Mastery/Products: Once the students have completed and
discussed their warm-ups, they will complete the Venn Diagram over Wetlands
and Coral Reefs. This will be
done in class. They will compare
both wetlands and corals reefs as well as what they both have in common. Once finished, this will be turned in
for a daily grade.

warm-ups with the class. Once
finished, they will complete a KWL Chart about Wetlands. The K stands for what they Know, W
stands for what they Want to know, and L stands for what they Learned. This will be done in class and due at
the end of class for a daily grade.

warm-up answers. Once finished,
they will take a short quiz over Wetlands. This quiz will be 20 questions, with both multiple choice
and true/false questions.

of Student Mastery/Products: Today the students will work on their warm-up
and then discuss their answers.
Once finished, we will get our review sheets for the final exams next
week. We will discuss the review
sheets and go over them during class.
We will also discuss any information about the final exams.

are you looking forward to over the Christmas Break? What are your plans for the two weeks
of vacation? (3/4 page)
Assessments/Evidence
of Student Mastery/Products: Today the students will work on their warm-up
questions and then discuss the answers.
Once we finish that activity, the students will use their review
sheets to make some notecards.
These notecards will be turned in on Monday at the end of class for a
Lab/Quiz grade. The students
will make 16 cards and will pick the 16 things that are most difficult for
them on the review sheet.
