About The Teacher
Let me share a little bit about myself. This is my fifth year here at Friendswood Jr. High. I have taught at the middle school/ jr. high level for 24 years, both out of state and in Texas. I graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. After graduating, my husband and I moved to St. Louis, Missouri and I taught there for three and a half years. We then returned to Texas. We have lived in Friendswood since 1978. We have 2 grown daughters, who both live in Dallas. I love teaching science because there is always something changing and there is always something new to learn. I love to see the growth in my student's understanding and application of science. Some of my hobbies include traveling, gardening, sewing and decorating our home. I am very proud to be a teacher at FJH and I look forward to meeting all the new students and watching them grow academically, socially and emotionally throughout the year.
