The Real World: FJH
We don't have much time these days to share our successes outside of school.  I would like to encourage students to bring in information/pictures about their EXTRA-extracurricular activities.  We have a special board jut for bragging, so bring in your newspaper clippings, ribbons, certificates, photos, etc.  Share your success!!


Advisory
Beginning the second 9 weeks, the advisory evaluation plan which was introduced at Open House will be implemented.  You can find an explanation of the plan on the "Advisory" page on this website.

SRA
Check out the new SRA page!  All SRA related information will be posted here, including handouts.

Extra Credit:
1. Each week students may bring in a printout of my "Classwork/Homework" page for 1- points extra credit toward their quiz average.  This is unlimited and there is no deadline.  Students just need to bring in the printout, put their name on it, and turn it in to the tray.  I will then apply it to a quiz grade.  Again this is unlimited, they can do it every week, and there is no weekly deadline.

2. Finding our vocabulary root words or prefixes in books, newspapers, magazines, tv, movies, etc., is worth 5 pts extra credit on a daily grade.  Again unlimited and without deadline.
 
Printed Assignments:

If printing an assignment ever presents a problem, please let me know.  Students have access to the school library computers and printer before and after school.  You can also attach the assignment to an email and turn it in that way.
