Humanities Class Work and Homework

*Keep looking for your root words in your outside reading and TV/movie watching. You can earn extra credit each time you bring an example of these words from "The Real World"!! 

Bring ALL SUPPLIES to class each day: a book to read, journal, pen and paper, LA folder or binder. 
 
Monday, December 7: Vocabulary: Discuss Quiz. Discuss A Christmas Carol. Finish watching Staves 3-5. 
Homework: SRAs due on Wednesday. All Christmas Carol work is due tomorrow. Wednesday night will be the last time to blog for this 9 weeks. 

Tuesday, December 8:  Analogy Review. Exam Review- hand out review sheets and discuss the best way to study. Allow time for questions. Watch A Carol Christmas - alternate version of A Christmas Carol - discuss differences.
Homework: SRAs are due tomorrow. There will be no excuses for work turned in late - be sure you have your project with you and ready to present tomorrow.

Homework: All Webquest Texas blogs are due BY MONDAY. Remember that you must blog at least three times about at least 3 different stops. Be sure to double check the requirements stated on the blog page.

*Next semester you will earn a nine weeks supply grade. Each time you come to class without ALL supplies, you will lose points off of this grade. This could be an easy 100 - be sure to take advantage of that.

Monday, December 14: Exam Review. Go over any questions and allow time to study with a partner. Finish A Carol Christmas.

Tuesday, December 15: 
2nd Period Exam - 8:30-10:05 
All other classes - Finish A Carol Christmas, exam review, Holiday puns and activities.

Wednesday, December 16: 
3rd Period Exam - 8:30-10:05
6th Period Exam - 1:15-2:45
All other classes - exam review/study time, Holiday puns and activities.

Thursday, December 17:
4th Period Exam - 8:30-10:00
5th Period Exam - 10:05-11:30
Early Release

Friday, December 18:
1st Period Exam - 8:30-10:00
7th Period Exam - 10:05-11:30
