*Start looking for your new roots in your outside reading and TV/movie watching. You can earn extra credit each time you bring an example of these words from "The Real World"!!
Bring ALL SUPPLIES to class each day: a book to read, journal, pen and paper, LA folder or binder.
*In general, you will have very little ASSIGNED homework other than class work you do not complete. It is my expectation that you will dedicate a little time each evening to your SRA.
Monday, November 16: Vocabulary: Roots - Chron, Crypt, and Cryph. Vocabulary book pgs. 112-113 complete and grade. A Christmas Carol - Finish Stave 1. Continue with A Christmas Carol - discuss while reading and complete discussion and written activities included in book: Making Meanings, Theme and Literary Elements, Novel Notes, Noting Values, etc. . . We will complete through Stave 3 this week. Watch a movie version of the story after each Stave to compare. Book Fair Preview during class today.
