Why do we have to do____________?
All work we do in Language Arts is designed to help you become more skilled and thoughtful readers and writers. The skills you gain in junior high will aid you in your high school courses - almost ALL of your high school courses. As you progress in your educational career, you will find that you are required to do a great deal of reading and writing. What can I do at home to make me a better reader/writer?
Read, read, read . . . Reading truly is the key to everything. Reading will improve your vocabulary, writing skills, and general knowledge base.
