Social Contract

We have created Social Contracts to help us work well together
throughout the year.

We began the year by answering the following questions:

1. How do you want to be treated by me (the teacher)?
2. How do you want to be treated by others (your classmates)?
3. How do you think I want to be treated by you?
4. When conflict arises, how should we handle it?

Once these questions were answered and discussed, we thought about the specific behaviors we can
use that will honor our responses to our 4 questions.

Our discipline policy will focus on student responsibility:

1st Offense - Warning
            Four Questions will be asked:
                1. What are you doing?
                2. What are you supposed to be doing?
                3. Are you doing it?
                4. What are you going to do about that?

2nd Offense - Parent Contact and Room Restriction (Morning or lunch D-hall)

3rd Offense - Office Visit

Please remember that the classroom is a place to learn. While we will often
have fun - we also need to be considerate of those around us. Excessive
talking hinders your ability to listen and learn. Please be a responsible
student and remember our agreed upon behaviors in the classroom.
