My name is Allison Coyle and this will be my sixth year in FISD. I am so
excited about the 2011-2012 school year and look forward to meeting all of my
students! As for me, I am a Friendswood alumni (K-12) and went on to receive
my Bachelors degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake in Psychology
and Sociology. After college I worked in Houston's non-profit sector and fell
in love with working with the underpriveledged and disadvantaged populations.
I realized on that journey that it was the children that I felt most at home
with and without a second thought focused my energy on obtaining my teaching
degrees in K-8 Generalist and K-12 Special Education. I completed my Masters
in December of 2008, which I received my degree in Cross Cultural Studies.
This year I will be wearing a new hat as the FJH Cheerleading Coach. My squad
and I have had a wonderful summer gearing up for the 2011-2012 season, and I
can't wait to see all of my former students tearing it up on the field/court!

On a personal note, I am married to my highschool sweetheart, David, and we
have a beautiful little boy, Logan. He is almost 2 1/2 and growing like a
weed. Life can't get any sweeter. Being a mother has truly taken my
relationship with my students to new heights. The second your child hits my
door that first day of school they are now my child too...and forever will be
a part of my "family". If there is ANYTHING I can do for you at anytime,

I cannot wait to share the next year with you all and I KNOW this is going to
be a ROCKIN' year for all of us! Welcome to my class!
