I have been teaching for 24 years in a variety of grade levels. I graduated
from Texas A&M, where I met my husband. I have one son who will be a
sophmore at A&M this fall and one son who is an A&M graduate working in the
Houston area.
My hope is that my students will leave my classroom with a love for literature and a firm grip on
grammar, literary terms, and writing related to literature. I would like to think that they will be better
prepared to face the rigors of high school classes, as well as, have a thirst for expanding their lives
through reading and writing.
