Welcome students and parents to our class website. I am new to Gattis this year. As I get to know the staff and your children, I feel very fortunate to be teaching here and spend time with your kids each day. With the potential I see in class, I am confident that this is going to be a very good year!

At this time our class does not have a room parent . If any of you are interested please let me know.Also if anyone would enjoy coming in and helping with some projects during the morning let me know.
We can also communicate via the planner that your child brings home each day. I believe that this is an excellent organizational tool. This can help them keep up with their assignments and keep you informed of what is happening in class. I appreciate the way they have had a parent initial each this each day.
Every Monday the class receives a spelling/vocabulary list and a special spelling assignment that is due that next Thursday.Thursday is the day they will have the spelling test.Spending time reading is very beneficial
Please have you child read for at least twenty minutes each day. I am looking forward to sharing your child's progress with you at the student parent teacher conferences in October. Please feel free to contact me when you have concerns.
