7:45 is the tardy bell.  9:00 is counted as absent

Why is my child not bringing home any work?

Your child should be bringing home a Math journal as well as a Science 
journal, showing exactly what the class was working on.  As well as these two 
items they should be bringing home the planner that was issued to them by the 
school.
