I have been teaching for nine years. I have taught Kindergarten for five
years, and 1st grade for four. I have taught in California for my first
three years, and in Texas for the last six. This will be my third year at
Gattis Elementary.
I have two wonderful children, Dominic is in 4th grade,and Faith is
in first grade. They both are here at Gattis. My husband's name is Dr.Gene,
and he is a chiropractor who recently changed occupations and now is a
property developer. My hobbies include shopping, reading, going to the
beach and spending time with my family.
I became a teacher because I love children and I love trying to make a
positive impact and difference in their lives. I will do my personal best to
make them feel special in my classroom, and learn to their fullest
potential. I am their teacher at school but you, as parents, are their
teachers at home. Your child needs all of us, working together as a team, to
help them to be as successful as possible. We will have a great year!
