When is homework due?

Homework is due to me every Friday. This makes it easy on you to plan ahead
for family outings or activities your child might be doing.

Do I want my students to read every night and how do we record that data?

Yes, I think it is important part of the reading process to practice their
reading. I want them to read at least 20 minutes a night alone or with
someone. This is an excellent time to spend time with your child. Then I
would ask that you sign their planner. This way I am aware of their reading.

How can we study spelling?

Dear Parents,
Spelling is an important part of school and your childs education. I
believe that spelling needs to be practiced every night, in order for your
child to learn them. I feel though it could be an interesting way to get
more information out of your child about their day. There will always be
words that have something in common and the others are from their own
writing. I know homework is stressful and at times a hassle. This is why I
have compiled a list of twenty five different ways to study spelling words
at night. Please ask your child about their spelling words and their
writing. Remember to have a fabulous time.
				Sincerely,
