ARE YOU EXCITED, I AM!!!!
I love the start of our year and the students. Their personalities are
shinning through. I am establishing a bond I hope lasts a life time. This
past month we had several birthdays and with all the goodies I feel my diet
is failing. I hope all students continue to read every night and respond.
You need to study spelling and last do not forget MATH!!! We are currently
starting our explorers unit in Social Studies. Also the students are working
to complete our new project for these next two weeks. We completed our
Native American project and the students created fantastic posters. I went
to school this past week myself, and I learned a lot of new ideas to add to
our day in hopes to build your child's reading and writing. We are
continuing to visit our kindergarten buddy class, Mrs. Sanford's every Friday
to peer tutor. Please ask your little bundles of joy to fill you in on more
details!!!!
