Teaching is a natural part of my life, I have been teaching for nineteen
years. This is my fourth year here at Gattis, but I come willing and ready
to learn from my parents, students, and staff. I bring with me all the
training I have learned from both the public and private schools in Houston.
I have taught K-4 during my teaching career and love teaching fourth due to
the fact writing is a passion of mine. I have found the more I can challenge
them to look as writing as not a fear but something which is exciting to do.
I was not a student who loved to read and write in school but throughout my
life as a learner I discovered the love of reading and writing. My goal and
wish is to give you back your child at the end of the year with a love for
school and a joy to read and write. I hope to become a team with you and your
child in hopes to reach their full potential.
My goal for all students who walk through my class that first day is to feel
a sense of pride for their class, school, and teacher. I want them to want
to come to school and be excited about our class. We all can learn through
the success of sharing. I strive to reach my goals and I want each child to
embrace school in hopes to reach for the stars.
