About the Curriculum

Gattis Elementary has prided itself on its Fine Arts programs based on ensuring student success through materials that are both engaging and informative.

In the music curriculum, students are given the opportunities to express themselves through singing and instrument while learning basic music literacy skills.

Performances are given by grade levels at PTA meetings in order to give the
students a purpose to their endeavors while creating community involvement through family entertainment opportunities.

We are excited to announce that we will be starting an honor choir this year at Gattis Elementary.  This choir will be offered to all fouth and fifth grade students who demonstrate commitment, leadership, and a passion for music.  The "Gator Chorale," will begin in the Spring with rehearsals before school at 7:05-7:35 Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The Gator Chorale will have their final performance in March, prior to spring break. :-)

Mrs. Stanley and Mrs. Koenig are working closely together in order to ensure
a well rounded and cohesive educational plan for all students attending Gattis.

We are so excited to have the opportunity to share our passion for music with
young learners.

CERTAIN ETIQUETTE REQUIREMENTS ARE IN PLACE FOR ALL MUSIC PERFORMANCES. PLEASE SEE THE "ANNOUNCEMENT" PAGE FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
