Environmental/Landscaping

Environmental Club has begun! Meetings are set for the 1st and 3rd 
Thursdays of the month in the Gattis library right after school. If you have any questions, please contat

RECYCLING THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR
The environmental/landscaping committee is making available recyling of 
certain items for the entire school year.

You may bring and drop off in the recyling 
containers located in the entrance to the school the following items:
Paper- Anyone can bring their paper items from home 
and use the yellow and green containers in the parking lot by the portables to recycle.  The 
school gets money for every pound collected.  Start your own recycling bin at home with an old 
box.  Place it next to where you sort mail, kids school work or read the paper.  What about 
those used up cereal or other food boxes?  Thick cardboard is the only exception.  They 
don't take that. Think of all the trash thrown away that could be turned into cash while also helping the 
environment.

Aluminium cans - all rinsed please - bins located in front foyer of school.

All Plastics  #1 #2  At this time,  we will no longer take plastics for recycling but 
keep those cans coming in!"
