About The Teacher
I am a native Texan that relocated to the Austin area in 2007 from Southeast Texas. I obtained a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Generic Special Education and a Texas State Teachers Certification for grades 1-6 from Lamar University-Beaumont and a Masters in Education Degree with a major in Educational Leadership from Texas State University. My teaching career bagan in 2000 in Port Arthur, Texas. I have taught only 4th grade, until my move to 5th grade in the 2010 school year, and I am enjoying every monment of it! I have been married for 17 years and counting. My husband Ralph and I have four beautiful daughters, Whitney, Courtney, Keisha, and Kennedi. We do not have any dogs or cats, but we do have 4 goldfish that have been very uniquely named by our eight year old. I love the small town atmosphere and all of the advantages of the city that Round Rock offers. I look forward to being here for a long time!
