Target Field Trip Grant 2009

Our class was awarded a free field trip last year to combine our study of Birds and Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse. We went to Discovery Green in Houston. It is a park that uses recycled everyday products to make their gazebos, fountains, and benches. We looked at these projects as well as went birdwatching for the purpose of seeing birds we had studied in our nonfiction unit.
