Our First Experiment of the Year...Gobstoppers!

The students performed their first scientific experiment. As scientists, they first asked a question, "Which Gobstopper will bleed first into the water?"

Then they made predictions.

After that they tested their theories.

We had a blast and were very surprised with our results. The neatest discovery was how the water looked after the gobstoppers had all lost their color. It turned into a murky brown color, but the students noticed it smelled good!

It created these perfect triangles in the petri dish! NEAT!
