Classroom Rewards
PENNIES, PENNIES, PENNIES! They LOVE them! They also receive lots of praise and support.
Conduct Card
A conduct card will be sent home everyday in the Daily Binder to be signed by the parent/guardian. You will see the codes for the rules broken plus whether your child was on green, yellow, blue, or red for each day. It is to be signed at the end of the week and put back in the Conduct Folder. These cards are a very important communication tool and I rely on them heavily to monitor behavior and issues that may arise and to provide and receive feedback. Your support in getting them signed and returned is greatly appreciated! With consistent communication between parent and teacher, your child will be wildly successful.
Daily Folder
Everyday I will be sending home a Daily Binder. Inside will be any communication between us, notes, and homework. I will check with EACH child DAILY to make sure that they have returned these Binders. This prepares your child for added responsibilities of third grade. With a consistent system implemented, your child will take on this responsibility themselves and see to it that all homework is finished and the folder is returned. I will be happy to show you some of the EASY ideas I've implemented with my own children.
