About The Teacher

I have been teaching for twenty-four years; seventeen at the high school 
level.  My husband is a professor at Tarrant County College where he also 
teaches English.  We have two wonderful daughters, Ashley, a freshman at the 
University of Pittsburgh and Alaina, an 8th grader at Grapevine Middle 
School. I enjoy reading, dancing, theatre, and spending time with my family.
