 Here are some Updates to Share about our days,, they are quite busy.
 Math -  Time is our focus these days. We have reviewed minute hand and hour hand. Second graders are expected to read an analog clock in 5 minute increments. The kids are doing great reading the clock, but are still tempted to look at the digital clock in the hallway! With practice I know we will continue with our time skills perfectly! We are also going to use time in problem solving. Try asking your student time questions like; dinner will be ready in 30 min. What time will it be? using a digital and analog clock.
In Reading we are challenging our minds with Inferencing what the character thinking or how it feels. We are writing our Winter poems! The past weeks we have used descriptive words and stretched our sentences in editing. They all sounds great! We can't wait to take those to the computer lab to type and illustrate. Those will be on our walls soon.
