I graduated from Texas A & M (Gig’em Aggies!!!!) in 1990 with an education
degree and have spent 11 years in the classroom (both full-time and part-
time) with a few years in between raising my kids. I began at Great Oaks as
an Accelerated Math and Reading Instructor in 2004. After Spring Break of
2005, I began a long-term substitute teaching job, and was then blessed with
the opportunity to teach full-time on the 2nd grade team beginning in the Fall
of 2005. I continued to teach on the 2nd grade team until this year when I was
given the opportunity to teach 4th grade. I look forward to my new adventure.
I have also been a parent at Great Oaks for 10 years (although my youngest has
now moved on to Middle School). My oldest is 16 years old and is in the 10th
grade at McNeil High School. My youngest is 11 years old and is in 6th grade
at Cedar Valley Middle School. I also have a wonderful husband, David, of 19
years.
I enjoy doing home projects, crosstitching, swimming and hanging out with my
family.
