Hello Parents,
We have had a very busy week. We have really enjoyed all of our 100th Day
activities. We loved seeing and sharing our "100 things" collection. They
were all very creative! Our 100th Day party was very fun as well. We
enjoyed building with 100 blocks, counting 100 stamps, creating glasses, a
fruit loop necklace, a headband, putting 100 piece puzzles together, and
playing numerous other games!
I hope everyone is recording their minutes read for the “Read to Succeed”
program. Remember that you can count minutes you read to your child or
minutes your child reads to you!
Please remember to send a 44 cent postage stamp by 2/11/10.
Also, we are now halfway through our kindergarten year. We are already
starting to pick up speed in our routine and skills. We will be working hard
in reading, writing, and problem solving. Independence in both academic and
social activities will be strongly encouraged/ expected for the remainder of
the year in order to better prepare ourselves for the transition into first
grade.
We are in need of a parent from our classroom to help with the school
carnival. Please email me if you are interested.
Have a great weekend.
