Political Characteristics- Characteristics that have to do with the structures and affairs of government, politics and its institutions, or politicians

SAMPLE OF FOUR SQUARE PEGS VOCABULARY:

Students choose vocabulary words to define and assign to a PEGS category.  Students must state why they have connected a term to a particular category by using characteristics of the category to support the assignment; (See example below such as Political because…).

 

Step One:  Identify and Define the term

Step Two:  Thinking about the term’s definition and about the characteristics of the PEGS categories, decide in which PEGS area the term most connected

Step Three: Using characteristics of the PEG category as your supports, explain why you connected that term with that PEG category

 

(Students: You may use any organization style you would like to.  You may use the four square below, or even just a simple list of terms with their definitions and PEG assignment with reasoning.  The organization is up to you, so long as you complete the required task).
