TAG/Enrichment Opportunities
This page is dedicated to TAG students, or anyone who'd like to find out
more about the topics we are studying in class. A report, summary, project,
or paper describing what you learned as a result of an enrichment or TAG
activity will be good for BONUS POINTS in class, or to REPLACE a
dissappointing grade in class.
You do not have to be classified as TAG to do any of the exercises below.
I often harp on the fact that you need to know how to write for your future.
Research ten professions that require writing skills as a primary focus.
Prepare a chart, graph, paper, or other project that presents these
professions. Please include at LEAST income potential, educational
requirements, and resources where interested student can find additional
information about each profession. The link above will help you get started.

Use this link to find out about reading group opportunities. Write a summary
about what it would take to start an effective reading group of your own.
Describe your membership criteria, meeting format, and anything else you
find interesting about the reading group you design. You DO NOT have to join
a group or start one; this is theoretical! If you'd like to start one, go
ahead!
