Other Information:
Students must end up with a cumulative grade of above 70 for the year in order to receive the credit necessary to go into French 2 in high school. Otherwise, students will have to begin all over with French 1 next year. Make sure that doesn't happen!

7 Jours sur la planète: TV 5 provides amazing short news videos (3/week) with online listening activities. They even have transcriptions of the reports.
http://www.tv5.org/TV5Site/7-jours/Les Clés Junior: an online magazine with daily articles on France, the world, culture, and sports. They also have a "mot du jour" which gives not only a word definition, but also its origin, plus an article to read.
