Summer Orchestra:
I would like to invite you to participate in our Summer Orchestra Program! 
It is a lot of fun and your child will be more successful when school begins 
in the fall.  Below you will find the complete schedule for for Summer

All Beginning Orchestra Students at Grisham: 
Grisham Middle School Orchestra Room

August 3 - 5
Beginning Violin/Viola 2:00 – 2:50pm
Beginning Cello 3:00 – 3:50pm 
Beginning Bass 4:00 – 4:50pm



All beginning orchestra students are encouraged to attend as many days of 
the summer classes as possible. If you cannot attend the entire session 
because of vacation plans, you may attend any part of the session or wait 
until the regular school year begins. Summer Orchestra provides plenty of 
time for individual help with no scholastic pressures so please make plans

All classes meet in CVMS Orchestra Hall
August 3, 4, 5 and 6
Intermediate Orchestra Students 8:30-10:00am

Advanced Orchestra Students 10:00-11:30am

August 6
8:30am All Students arrive at CVMS – Bus Canopy
8:45am Bus departs CVMS for RRISD Performing Arts Center
9:30 – 11:30am Rehearsal 
11:30am - 12:30pm Lunch at PAC - Pizza
12:30 - 2:00pm Rehearsal
2:30 - Estimated time of arrival at CVMS

August 6: Concert at RRISD PAC at 7:00pm
6:30pm Tuning and Warm-up
7:00pm Concert


Concert Attire: 
Boys: nice slacks and dress shirt
Girls: nice dress or slacks and nice blouse

Please no jeans and/or athletic shoes!! Look your best!
