Homework Expectations:
- Writing Homework = 1 page in
Writer's Notebook on a topic of the student's choice
- TAG Writing Homework = 1.5 pages
in Writer's Notebook on a topic of the student's choice
- Reading Homework = Read for 20
minutes in a book or magazine of the student's choice and record on Reading Log
Supplies to bring to class
everyday:
- planner
- Writer's Notebook (3-subject, 8
1/2 x 11 spiral)
- Pen or pencil (no red pens)
Expectations for written work
turned in for a grade:
1. All written work should have a
professional appearance. -no ragged/torn edges -neat handwriting in pen or
pencil -no red pen
2. All written work should be
written in complete sentences unless otherwise specified.
3. All written work should be
properly identified by first and last name, class period, and date.
Written work that does not meet
these expectations may have to be re-done.
