Saving the Planet Instructions
Project Instructions:
1. Randomly select your letter.
2. Brainstorm environmental ideas that support your letter.
3. Design a Power Point slide that includes the following items:
- Your name and class period
- Your letter and what it stands for
- The most important fact / suggestion / tip for the audience
- One appropriate graphic
- Use of color and background
- Use of Notes section for 5 facts/research (support for your tip) and works cited
4. Save your slide as a regular power point slide while you are working.
5. Have a peer look over your slide and offer suggestions.
6. Print
7. Staple blue rubric to front (don't forget to write your name on the rubric) and turn in.
8. Save your slide as jpg (see directions below)

For example:

When should I print my slide?
After Mrs. Tidwell has given you permission!
How should I print my slide?

Print
Under "Print What", choose
Notes
Now that I'm done, how do I save my slide as a jpg?
Follow the same path to the shared folder (you should already be there)
Keep your file name the same (
Your Letter First name Last name Earth Day
)
But change the extension to jpg
Under " save as type" choose jpg
Choose "current slide only"
Only save as a jpg when you are completely finished - you can't make any changes once it is saved as a jpg!
