This is my sixth year to teach Language Arts at Grisham Middle School. I
love being a part of the Grizzly family! This school has become like home to
me.
I am a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2001 (WHOOP!):)
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M University in 2001
and then my Masters of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) in 2003, also
from TAMU. I graduated from high school in Lumberton, Texas, although I
moved almost every two years while I was growing up. I have lived in
Florida, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Kansas, and in many different Texas
towns. I am the oldest of four children. I have a sister who recently
graduated from Texas A&M and a brother who is in his final year at the
United States Military Academy at West Point. My youngest sister just
graduated from high school.
As you can see from my photos, I am a big animal lover and I have a large
animal family! I am a mommy to three wonderful beagles - Brodie, Indigo, and
Lucy. Brodie is actually Indigo's father! Indigo's mommy, Gretel, and two
of Indigo's brothers, Andy and Prometheus, live with my parents in
Lumberton. Lucy is a stray beagle that I found over Easter Break 2003. I
took her in and then found out she was going to have puppies! I placed all
of the puppies in very special homes - including giving one to our former
principal, Mr. Hunt!
During the summer of 2006, I got engaged! I was married to Eric Gobert in
December of last year.
